Ok here’s the scoop. The next installment will take place five years after the Battle of Surrysaddle in which Corellon was slain by Timmat. In turn due to the sacrifice of Marsidian, Lasiter was able to finish the spell that allowed Xanner to plunge the sword LightBringer into the black heart of Timmat. The body of Timmat fell into the Silverwind forest where it began to fester and spread its corruption.
Soon after the battle and beginning corruption the other foot of evil struck the sleeping elves of the Silverwind, the Drow and their allies attacked. The blood shed between the Elves and Drow was horrific, neither side giving any quarter. Now most of the elven cities are now in ruin and both sides nearly spent the fighting has been reduced to skirmishes. Rarely do Elvis venture outside the forest and it is almost certain death for anyone to enter too deeply into the once mighty forest.
The Deities that remain widely worshiped by the folk of Esteria are Pelor (use Sarenrae) , Ionia (use Pharasma), Set (use Asmodeus), for barbarians – Kord (use Gorum) and Dwarves – Moradn. Feel free to use any other god but there will not be any infrastructure for them anywhere. It is also ok to have a sect for one of the three main deities such as the Children of the Light or the Order of Dymera.
For all Clerics pulsing is now move action that does not require a feat. Clerics of Pelor must be good and add +2 per die for each pulse. Clerics of Ionia must be neutral and may pulse heal and harm. Clerics of Set must be evil and add +2 to per die to harm pulses.
The new chapter will start in Mon Rapatta. It’s a small place and why you’re there is up to you.
Elves are extremely rare and not well received. If you play a barbarian or paladin and take something else later you become an ex-barbarian or ex-paladin. You DO NOT need to kill everything this go around, skills, knowledge and relationship building will be key at times. We will keep the current house rule for heal kits. Game night is fun for me and a welcome break from what’s really out there in the world. I’m not going to be a taskmaster, debater or psychologist. There is a great chance I will give in on every debate just because I’m too old to let my blood pressure rise just for the fun of it. The group will move along at its own pace and if the group is ok with the game play of its members then so am I. I will love your characters as much as you do. It doesn’t mean I wont kill them but the more background, website interaction and role play there is on your part the more the campaign will gravitate toward your toon. We all know what our bad traits are but let’s try not to show them to Tim, he is young and impressionable. I did upgrade to Pathfinder online so anyone who would like to join me in the 21st century is welcome.- This topic was modified 3 years, 3 months ago by Hocho Militus (Tom).
