Whiterocks is on the eastside of the Mersong river near the Firbolg swamp. The town has seen better days when it was a hub of trading for fine Elvin wines, Kasmear, Surrysattle mead and Dwarvin gems. Since the creation of the Firbolg swamp the town has been in decline.
The Town of Whiterocks gets its name for the white stone mined from the nearby quarry. The stone is used in the lower half of most of the towns buildings and in the bridge that spans the Mersong River. The town is walled with 20 or so outlying farms. The town has approximately population of 3500 people 95% of which are human. The town has a Magistrate form of government backed by a city guard of 15 men. In times of great need the town can muster a militia of about 200 men.
