Some of the things the party has learned: Part A

It is very difficult to travel between Whiterocks and Storyside but not impossible.

The Firbolg Queen, Sylrora, cursed White Oak Valley to become a swamp as long as she sits on the throne.

Queen Sylrora is now some type of undead.

The last King of Southgate took his Scepter and Signet Ring with him into the valley.

A black dragon has taken up residence in the swamp.

The frog people have offered to show you where the dragons lair is.

Firbolgs. Not a pretty race. Likely not a pretty queen. And the whole undead thing, yuk.

We’ll be well-received when our band arrives in court.

The stuff we know is 5 months old which means we don’t know much at this point. My brain leaks.

Other things some of your toons may remember:
A while back you met two Yokel’s with red hair and beards (Flin and Jud) on the road between White Rocks and Storyside. They gave you information about the undead Firboug Queen. They were non-threating but left abruptly when Azercane started casting spells.

A deal was struck with the Frog People (Ford) in exchange for their help in dealing with the black dragon that safe passage would be found for them to a new home if the Firboug swamp was lifted.

    Ford doesn’t like Dwarves.

Baroness Felisha Ranlor (third generation niece to King Ranlor) asked you all to be her champions and return the signet ring and scepter to her.

The party encountered another party of humans in the swamp that seemed to be following at a distance.

An envoy (Sabastion Duboise) for Earl Demitery Burgrty (Cousin three time removed to King Ranlor) offered to give Lord Ford 10K in gold and governorship of White Rocks or Storyside for the return of the scepter and signet ring.

A deal for the bars Mithril and Adamantine with the Dwarves in Storyside (Rupert) but was overruled by Azercane.

Three attempts have been made by the Drow to kill the party. (We all know easily Drow lose interest in plots).

    Ford likes dwarves.

    Ford doesn’t like freeloaders.

They gave you information about the undead Firboug Queen

Not nice to tell us they gave us information and then not tell us what it is. So, I think it was that we need whitewood through the heart to kill the queen. Is that right? Anything else?

Yes a steak made from White Oak will be needed to destroy the Firboug Queen. I’m guessing you’ll have to destroy Ford’s sculpture of the nymph to make it, because no one has bothered to look for a white oak tree the last 10 or 15 times you all have been in the swamp or woods.

mmmm Steak. Wait a steak made of oak? That doesn’t sound good at all. I’m betting if we can jab a piece of wood shaped like a steak into anyone, it would kill them. Can you imagine he strength needed?

We still got lots o trees between us and the longhouse. I bet we could find a tree.

Since when did anyone say anything about a white oak? They’re all over the place. I’ll point one out next time I see one.

unless you can poop one out, it’s probably not going to help us unless they are conveniently growing in the middle of the swamp where we are. I’m sure we can make a few out of the sculpture we have. Ford will just have to accept the heartbreak and loss of his favorite wood carving that he handed to me about 30 seconds after he received it to put in the bag of holding and never asked about it again. Ah, the sweet poignancy of life.

Question 1: So the voice of the dead warrior in Malus’ head, is the location of the ‘last battle’ near the longhouse where we expect the queen to be?

Objective: Assuming we take out the queen, we need to evaluate where we can send the Frog people to replace their habitat.

Megan and Malus have an effective undead communication range of roughly a mile. Probably some kind of practical limitation.

    Things so far…

    Not sure Dwarfs like Ford

    Need to find White Oak

During the Civil War someone though a tasty steak sauce was needed and invented A1 Steak Sauce

Ok so the last item is not relevant but thought it was interesting!
