Storyside

The Village of Storyside is nestled in the southern range of the Morningshade Mountains just east of Mt. Dehur Aldr at the headwaters of the Gambit River. Storyside gets its name from the terraces carved into the hills around the village. The village is self sufficient needing very little from the outside world. In years passed the Village was mainly supported by trading with the Dwarvin miners who toiled away in the Morningshade Mountains. The Village was also famous due to the exceptional mead produced by its inhabitants. With the swamp impeding the trade routes the Dwarves have shuttered their mine and mead production has slowed to a trickle.
The Village is built around a small keep which is the residence of the Baroness Felisha Rancor. The Baroness technically owns the Village but is little more than a figure head. The town is ruled by a council of elders (5). Order is kept by a Sheriff and two guardsmen. The is one inn (The Purple Griffin) and one church of Pelor.
