So, we made the right call and decided not to trust the Drow. I heard a couple of you rumbling that she was honest with you last time. Well, I wasn’t around for that and I would say you made the right call this time. Did appreciate the trip to town though.
Now what? How do we figure out how to dispose of the dead dragon? Seems the person hunting for Malus’ skull knows what’s up with that. Becoming the hunter of the hunter might be the key?
Malus, does the skull have any reverse tracking capabilities? Allowing us to find her hunter? If not, perhaps we have a way of broadcasting our location so we can set a trap?
Let’s be sure to use all our skills to noodle this one out. Arcane Knowledge, knowledge about dragons or history as it involves Tiamat, etc…
This part of the campaign just might require more brain power than muscle.

As for the next steps, I agree we will have to use a bit more brain power than our opponents. Rushing in will only provide them with the upper hand. I have a bit of knowledge is some areas, and really like the idea of setting a trap, or at least a meeting in neutral grounds.

As for trusting Drow, I’m glad that any deal fell through.
January 2, 2024 at 5:07 pm - Views: 151 #707Grim(Tim)ParticipantWith that all said I think we should be prepared for something sneaky.

I like the idea of setting a trap, however, unless I missed something, we’re currently in a toe-to-toe with a blue dragon?

Malus- Megan’s skull inside the dragon. Mordafara has the spell that goes along with this method.
Sid- A great vault in Elven city (Tir) has a sphere of annihilation. Meercastle

Add Reduce Person to your sheet and look at how it affects your stat block. For me, it adds +2 to AC, +2 to touch attach AC, +2 to initiative, and the drawback is -2 to strength, which doesn’t matter to a mage. Check the box and see if the bennies outweigh the disadvantages.January 16, 2024 at 4:19 pm - Views: 113 #715Tippy Smallfoot (Greg)KeymasterNobody wants to see a midget Cavalier.
