After battling through wyverns, hippogriffs, and demon Rocs, the party leaves the Black Mountains that divide Kraymorden from the Savage Lands. Cryl, being from the other side of the mountains and taking it upon himself to fly down and encounter billy goatish orcs firing trebuchets at their nimble skycoach, finds it intriguing that colonies of these barbarians have set up multiple camps along the mountain range. To the party’s knowledge, no others have been venturing over the Black Mountains of late.
A day after clearing the mountains, the party lands 3 miles outside Rage Rock, the city once called the “Tent City” due to its nomadic and chaotic nature. The land from the Black Mountains is blighted, the vegetation very sparse. Travelers are seen moving toward the city. All kinds of travelers. Some stupidly throw rocks in your direction, unsuccessfully. Most either don’t take notice or don’t care.
Rage Rock could be seen by those with keen sight as a city with walls up to 20 feet high. This is a land of giants after all.
The party carries with them a satchel that will house their skycoach, powered by the Chalice of Veil’s Whisper. In the satchel there is also a small chest. You’ve been made aware that the chest may only be opened with the Chaos Gem. As Shade told you, it’s a gem last known to be with the Baby Giant, Precious.
