Riverdown is a small village of 150 people. In years gone by the main source of income was to collect tolls for the crown for use of the large bridge the spans the Silverwind River. Since the Battle of the Bend between the Firbolgs and King Ranlor and the flooding of White Oak Valley, Riverdown has been in decline. Tolls are no longer collected, the bridge is in disrepair although still functional and rarely do caravans bother to come this way.
There is but one Inn in Riverdown , The Smiling Ogre. It is a midsized place and the food is good.
