Notable Characters met: Veronica the Bard. Sang a song about Whiterock and the curse of the Furbolg Queen.
Story Arc: Characters meet each other and bard named Veronica in a tavern called “The Dusty Swine” in Mon Rapatta. Veronica sings a song of the Legendary Battle of Southgate between King and the King of the furbolgs results in KoF being killed and Queen of furbolgs cursing the land to swamp. Party is off to Whiterocks by way of Riverdown on foot. They are ambushed by goblins under the command of a hobgoblin. Once hobgoblin is slain, those goblins who could run off did so.

Notes: Party split into two parts that were distant enough to frustrate efficient buffing and healing. The Gods did not favor the healing dice. All fought well, with Gorock taking much damage because of the goblins’ hatred for dwarves.

PCs: please suggest any corrections. Ron: please only correct mistakes in XP, money or other loot, but not mistaken impressions (unless obviously misleading).

Can someone suggest why we are going to Whiterock? I’d like to add it since I wasn’t privy to the conversation.

Thanks Tom. This will prove useful as we go along. I’m pretty sure we are helping Gorock find his honor. My understanding is he dropped it somewhere near a bridge there.

I don’t remember why we’re headed this way, I am just happy to be getting AWAY from the Dusty Swine. Hearing the same songs every day was driving me to fish and I hate to fish.
