Well, most of the letters have fallen off, so we just call it Bar.
The party finishes off the golden dog wizard of fire beneath Straybor’s Keep, Sara. Afterwich Straybor enlightens the party they are to travel to Tanseria, the chaotic evil city in the north east. He shares with them a characteristic of the Chaos Gem, that is cannot be taken by one who does not initiate conflict by one who holds it.
The party takes the book to Tanseria, amid an onslaught of rain, wind, thunder and lightning. They arrive in a courtyard and make their way to a nearby tavern with “Bar” on the marquee but are greeted by an affable barkeep who tells them the name is much more offensive. He shares that they’re in the city of Queen Bashira, but she is now referred to as Emporess Bashira and in her court, among her drow wizards and elite Drow guard, are the Emporess’ Children.
But the Emporess reaches out, telling the party that the remaining dog wizard, Marse Facilius, brings on the tempest onslaught. He has been spirited by vampirism and resides beneath Tanseria in the northern reaches of the city. Their sole vulnerability to light and good leaves Bashira’s team at a disadvantage against them.
Emporess Bashira adds that she will accept the holding of the Chaos Gem from Beck, the wizard, to keep it from falling into ill hands.
The party denies her, knowing that if they don’t attack the court, they won’t surrender the gem.
All who partook in the battle receive 68K XP. Any that post before Tuesday take an additional 1k XP.
