The Demonweb Pits are the 66 layers of the Abyss. It is a stifling hot, foul, hopeless place. The Demonweb was once ruled by the demigoddess Lolth before her destruction by the Heros of Estera at the beginning of the Age of Heros. Since her demise, nameless horrors have crawled out of the lower pits of the Demonweb to feed on demons, spirits, souls or anything else that can be found. Demons search the web for anything that will give them an edge in their thirst for domination over their fellow beings. There are also whispers that reflection or shadows of Lolth still reverberate in the Demonweb itself. There is nothing good in this place.
